We found this motel near the highway on a long trip and we were very pleased. Our room was newly renovated and lovely. The breakfast was great! It was just what we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.
This is a solid Holiday Inn Express - everything was as I expected which is why I rated it a five star. This was my second stay, and I would stay again - a good night's sleep on a long road trip.
The only problem - the wifi is so slow it's really un-usable. I didnt need it (I just used my phone on the cellular)so it really wasnt a problem. But for the price charged for the rooms they really need to fix this issue. If I had been on a business trip this would have been a serious problem.
The entire motel was spotlessly clean. Unique shower configuration that requires no shower curtain. I love the design! Front desk person helped me get wifi on my laptop and obtained a TV remote from other unused room as there was none in my room. Breakfast staff kept everything full, hot, and continuous table wiping. I definitely recommend this motel.
Made a reservation at this hotel as we were traveling from Atlanta to Denver. Driving across the empty heartland of Kansas, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening. The staff was friendly and waiting for us. The room was clean and comfortable. In the morning, we were surprised that the complimentary breakfast included eggs, biscuits, bacon and sausage as well as cereal, custom made waffles and pastries. We had a wonderful time in this Queen Anne home. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They provided a big delicious breakfast. We so enjoyed visiting with them!
