Top neighborhoods in Fremont

Warm Springs District
Warm Springs District combines suburban charm with tech industry buzz. Tesla's massive factory anchors this Fremont neighborhood, while BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir adds cultural interest. Families love Golfland's attractions, and the Innovation District showcases Silicon Valley's forward-thinking spirit. The BART station connects you to San Francisco without the hassle of driving. Chain restaurants and casual dining spots cluster near transit areas, with Asian fusion and American fare dominating the scene. Extended-stay hotels cater perfectly to business travelers. The BART station provides easy access to Oakland and San Francisco, making this quiet residential area an ideal base for exploring the Bay Area.

Centerville
Centerville blends Victorian-era charm with a vibrant South Asian cultural scene that's a treat for curious travelers. Explore the historic 1893 Train Depot and heritage buildings that line the main street, then dive into authentic Indian and Pakistani restaurants with mouthwatering curries and fresh naan. The neighborhood's specialty shops and weekend farmers market offer plenty to browse between sightseeing stops. Getting around is best done on foot along the flat, tree-lined streets with ample parking for those driving in. Most shops keep reasonable hours, staying open until early evening. While accommodation options are limited within the neighborhood itself, the area's genuine community vibe and affordable dining make Centerville a refreshing slice of Fremont worth exploring.

Mission San Jose
Mission San Jose blends colonial history with residential charm in Fremont's historic district. The restored 1797 mission beckons with white adobe walls, red tile roofs, and peaceful gardens where mission bells gently chime. Visitors can explore the chapel with original frescoes, museum exhibits, and a reconstructed Native American village while enjoying magnificent mountain views. The neighborhood offers casual Mexican-American eateries and diverse Asian cuisine in nearby strip malls, though most close early. Accommodations favor charming bed & breakfasts in historic homes rather than hotels. Getting around requires a car, but the historic core is easily walkable with ample free parking available.

Bayside
Fremont's Bayside neighborhood has a host of places to visit such as Silicon Valley and Cinemark Century at Pacific Commons.

Glenmoor
Glenmoor offers a taste of genuine American suburban life without the tourist hustle. This peaceful Fremont neighborhood features tree-lined streets, well-maintained homes, and small parks perfect for morning strolls. While quiet within its boundaries, you're just minutes from outdoor adventures at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area, where fishing, hiking, and picnicking await. Getting around requires wheels—most visitors rent cars or use ride-sharing services since public transit is limited. For meals and shopping, you'll venture to nearby Fremont hubs rather than finding options within the neighborhood. Accommodation means cozy vacation rentals in family homes where you'll experience authentic residential charm.

FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill
"The cleaning crew comes every other day and the day she came she didn’t swept the floors you can see some of the hairs, she fix our bed and leave clean towels"
Handlery Union Square Hotel
"The hotel is ideally centred in an excellent location. The hotel is not modern and has a certain charm. The furnishings are a little worn and dated. Overall the staff were professional and friendly although there was a minor issue regarding extending a room stay for one member of the party which was surprisingly over complicated by the front desk staff on duty at the time. Despite this issue I would highly recommend the hotel."
Hotel Nikko San Francisco
"We love the property and staff. We travel to San Francisco once or twice a year, and we only stay at the Hotel Nikko. Thanks, y'all!"
Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
"The breakfast was excellent, good variety and very polite staff that kept it constantly topped up. The hotel also had a grab and go which had coffee, food and snacks until 10 at night. The location made it easy to get around. It was walkable to pier 39 , fisherman’s wharf sign and lots more . There was a tram stop and 2 bus stops nearby. Bus 28 takes you to the bridge and then you can get back on and go to the park. Our room was on a cross road which made it very noisy at night, loud cars constantly driving up and down, the tram and lots of other noise which of course isn’t the hotels fault , it’s just because it is so near to the front. There are quite a lot of homeless in the city and they are often around the fire pits at the hotel but we never had a problem with them."
Hotel Zoe Fisherman's Wharf
"This was such a cute little hotel in centrally located in the heart of it all, the staff was so nice even though we had an oversized truck and didn’t realize that we could walk everywhere we needed to go, but they were so patient. I highly recommend this hotel."
The Pickwick Hotel
"Overall great place to stay"
Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco
"Great location. AC plus a gym made it perfect for me. Very friendly staff."
Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
"This is a hidden gem! We were somewhat leery booking this property because the price was $150 for the night. What we experienced was a great boutique style hotel. The room was smaller but had a large walk in closet, which you don’t see in hotels. This allowed us to put luggage in there and made the room feel bigger. Highly recommend staying here!"
Marriott Vacation Club®, San Francisco
"Great location. Check in parking is not good. Needs a lobby bar. Very clean room."
