"Had a wonderful stay at The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites. We were travelling to see our daughter at IU but all of the rooms in Bloomington were either booked or super expensive due to it being Parents' Weekend. We looked for options outside of Bloomington and saw reviews for The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites and decided to book there and are very happy that we did. We arrived and were warmly greeted by the owners. Our suite was well-appointed and cleaned. Even though the lodging was packed, our room was nice and quiet. We also met some of the travelers at the firepit and had a great time talking with them. We had also never been to Nashville and loved it! So many cute shops and lots of places to eat and drink. We also took a great hike at Brown County State Park, which is just a couple of miles down the road. Also, it was an easy 25 minute drive to IU. We will definitely come back!"

"Unit was clean but outdated. Hotel gave good instructions for check in and out since there is no manned front desk. Our unit was 113, was part of an older apartment complex that transitioned into a hotel. Beds were very hard and the pillows were flimsy and thin. Location was good, walkable to downtown Brown County main area. Overall hotel was fine for one night we needed due to concert."
