Learn more about Nashville
Tucked into the rolling hills of Indiana, this tiny artists' colony punches far above its weight in creative charm. Galleries and craft shops line the streets where painters have sought inspiration since the early 1900s. The Brown County Art Gallery showcases local talent while the historic Brown County Playhouse offers intimate performances year-round. Take a break from gallery-hopping at Hard Truth Distilling Company for a taste of local spirits. Nature lovers can explore nearby Brown County State Park's hiking trails that burst with spectacular fall colors. The Brown County Music Center attracts surprisingly big-name performers to this small town. For a perfect day, browse handmade pottery and paintings in the morning, then head to Lake Monroe for afternoon kayaking.

Salt Creek Inn
"It was good to stay last minute"
Lil Black Bear Inn
"The host Jim was super nice and we loved woods surrounding the inn. Would definitely stay here again."
Hotel Nashville
"Unit was clean but outdated. Hotel gave good instructions for check in and out since there is no manned front desk. Our unit was 113, was part of an older apartment complex that transitioned into a hotel. Beds were very hard and the pillows were flimsy and thin. Location was good, walkable to downtown Brown County main area. Overall hotel was fine for one night we needed due to concert."
Quality Inn Nashville - Bloomington
"Our room was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was ok, some hot food. It's a great place to stay when attending a concert."
The Iris Garden Downtown Cottages and Suites
"Location is fantastic, but the parking is in the back above the cottages. If you are mobility challenged, this is an issue going back and forth to the car. There are a lot of steps from the parking area and down where the cottage is. you are walking distance to the whole downtown area (watch out for the sidewalk in front of the Brown County Courthouse, it is in terrible need of repair if you use a walker)"
