Learn more about Point Pleasant
Venture into the realm of the unexplained at the Mothman Museum, where over 100 sightings of the red-eyed winged creature are documented with eerie detail. The imposing silver Mothman statue downtown makes for an essential photo opportunity that friends back home won't believe. Where the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers converge, Tu-Endie-Wei State Park offers peaceful fishing spots and picnic areas with views that belie the area's mysterious reputation. The Point Pleasant River Museum chronicles the town's more conventional history, though locals might still share tales of the 1966 paranormal events. The Point Pleasant Battlefield Memorial provides a historical counterpoint to the supernatural lore that has made this small riverside town an unlikely pilgrimage site for curious visitors.

"No real problems, just an ok place to stay. Restrooms in the stalls in the lobby restrooms were very small and both urinals in the men’s room were broken. When we came into turn in key cards the desk attendent was talking with another employee and I had to interrupt to get directions to breakfast, no signs were posted. Don’t think I’ll stay again."
McCoy's Inn
"It was a very nice room everything was perfectly clean!"
