This hotel was wonderful. It was a large, clean space. We stayed bc we were attending a wedding in the area. We even forgot our dress & suit in the closet. We called & they gladly held the items for us so we could return & pick them up. There was a lovely park in the area for my 2yo. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay!
Our stay was amazing. The cleanliness was exceptional. Very impressed and happy. We will be going back in August. The front desk service was excellent and friendly.
Great staff, beautiful aesthetic and charming. We happened upon the Briar Barn looking for a quaint place to sleep for the night. This place was beyond our expectations and we are already planning another visit, with friends, to stay and see the sights of the area. We are New Yorkers and were so impressed by they service, the cleanliness, the vibe, the amenities and the space. We will come back and recommend to others.
Great hotel. Always clean and the beds are sooo comfortable! The hotel is in a great location. Check is always easy with a friendly smile. Great breakfast as well. Definitely our go-to hotel when we are in the area!!
Stayed at the Exeter Inn this past week for a quick trip to Maine and New Hampshire.
Check in was a breeze and a surprise cookies and complimentary bottled water left in the room were a very nice surprise. Room was very clean, decor is very nice and there is a 24 gym downstairs (all with free towels and water). Parking was adequate (plenty of spaces however we were there on a weekday). Didn't get a chance to try their food but overall i would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking...
This was a great place for the long weekend. Enjoyed the pool. The front desk staff were great. Location was great, close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
Felt the need to leave a review after some of the negative ones I read. This is a no frills hotel, in which the carpet and other things are a bit outdated. It was cheap, very clean, the bed was comfortable, and what led to me booking it was the indoor pool and mini fridge and microwave in each room. I’ve stayed worse places in Maine for more money and was overall happy with the stay. The staff aren’t overly friendly but not rude. It’s in a good location and parking was easy. Will stay here again...
