We had an amazing stay at the Davies Family Inn. Jim and Linda were exceptional hosts and personally made sure that we were completely satisfied with our amenities and comfort. Linda even made sure to stock our wood pile while we were out sightseeing. We will for sure go back to The Davies Family Inn. Thank you so much Jim and Linda.

It is great place to stay in Placerville, if you don't have do not disturb sign they do the regular room sevice thing. Very kind and nice people work thier. Great place to stay.

This was a mother/daughter weekend for us. The facilities are beautiful and everyone was friendly and expressed wanting to make our stay pleasant.

Our room was top to bottom books! So fun exploring the collection. Breakfast exceeded expectations. The very friendly dog and cat were always around to brighten our day. In general lots of character. Can’t wait to return!

Stayed one night with 2 children. The hotel was very clean. The kids loved the indoor pool and breakfast in the morning. All the staff was very friendly. And a huge plus the Wi-Fi was very easy to access and had a excellent signal. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Rest for our anniversary and were welcomed warmly. The staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our experience! Thomas the general manager was great, he made us reservations at Taste and told us about the area. The restaurant is owned by the same couple that owns Rest. Outstanding meal and staff at Taste as well. They all really made our night special. This is a diamond in the rough!!!

Sue and Roger are innkeepers par excellence! Their Inn, amenities, delicious breakfasts and delightful iced tea, wine and cheese hours are just wonderful. Not to be missed!

This place was the perfect space to lay our heads after several days on the Rubicon Trail. Plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were big with very comfy beds and linens. The outdoor setting area with cornhole etc provides a great space to visit if you are there with multiple people. We couldn't have asked for better.

The management is very nice and they work hard at making everything about the rooms and the stay top quality. Over the phone my reservations were handled with professional expertise and courtesy. The rooms were clean and the hotel allows small pets for a reasonable fee - which made our visit with family in the area worry free. Comfortable rooms with Victorian theme. Brass beds, vintage furniture. Very welcoming host. Great homemade breakfast! Lovely yard, spa & wraparound porch for relaxing. Perfect weekend getaway.

We had a very nice stay. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we really appreciated the generous continental breakfast each morning. We slept well and found the accommodations comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a good value for the price.

The staff members who checked me in and out provided excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay at the hotel again when in the area.
