Excellent place to stay . Don’t listen to the bad reviews it is obvious they thought they would be staying at a 5 star hotel . This is glamping and we loved it . We stayed at one of the yurts(tents) and it was awesome , we had a ceiling and floor fan , refrigerator and electricity, queen size bed , it was cozy and fun . Check in and out process was super easy, staff at Cedar Lodge were very friendly. The Wi-Fi is actually superb which was a great surprise (it’s also free). Location is right on main road but secluded enough and a short 20 min from park entrance. Inside is very clean and well kept with plenty of cooking supplies, including a stove top and toaster among other things. Would definitely recommend.

Returned after 9pm from dinner in Mariposa, we were unable to find parking. Ran into a staff member who recognized our plight. She immediately volunteered her space close to the Clubhouse! Said she was leaving soon anyway.

Beautiful property opened in May 2024, about 20 min. from the entrance to the Yosemite park. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage (king queen bed). The cottages are free standing, each with a separate entrance. The parking is just outside the cottage (no valet). The cottage was modern, with an high ceiling, and a patio. My family of 3 stayed in 1 of the cottages for a couple nights in Feb. Fantastic location for easy access to the southern entrance of Yosemite. Property itself is very family friendly because of various activities. Our cottage was clean and well stocked. Resort grounds are well maintained. I would stay here again and highly recommend this resort.
Miner Inn in Mariposa was wonderful hotel in a small town. Everything is better than our expectation. We arrive after 9:30 pm. We called beforehand to let them know we will be late. They assured us there would be people at front desk to check us in. They did have people checked us in there, late in the evening. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is hot and very surprise to us. We love this place, and would come back int he future.
