Learn more about Rogers City
Tucked along Lake Huron's shore, this small maritime community punches above its weight with unexpected attractions. The Great Lakes Lore Maritime Museum showcases fascinating shipwreck artifacts and historic lighthouse lenses. Anglers can cast for salmon and trout in the crystal waters, while the Huron Sunrise Trail offers spectacular lakeside views. The world's largest open-pit limestone quarry, Port of Calcite, provides an industrial counterpoint to natural splendors like P.H. Hoeft State Park and Thompson's Harbor State Park. Seagull Point Park delivers perfect beach days, while Rogers City Marina buzzes with boating activity. The Presque Isle County Historical Museum reveals stories of this resilient community where Great Lakes shipping heritage remains alive and well.

Driftwood Motel
"There's nothing exceptionally good or exceptionally bad about this place. It's a solid option for a night or two, and the price is fair for its location and condition. This could be a much nicer place with a refresh. One of the two beds was okay, the mattress of the other was ... difficult. The continental breakfast is forgettable; Barilik's Cafe is nearby and a much better, inexpensive option."
The Purple Martin Inn
"Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful view. Totally worth the drive!"
