The stay here felt very comfortable and homely. The place is tucked away so you don't get traffic sounds or car exhausts. Breakfast every morning felt like I was a fancy bed and breakfast. The owners chatting you up about local sites, things to do, or just asking how your stay has been as also really nice.
Wonderful resort with access to a small private beach and nice balconies with view and lovely flowers. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and we received cold water in the frig as well as microwave popcorn. We enjoyed both. Nice breakfast choices but simple mostly, hard boiled eggs, Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, muffins,, cereals and juices.coffee available most of the day in lobby and free wine in early evening. It's right in front of the beautiful lakefront. The cars at night are a little loud because it's RIGHT by the street BUT very few drive by at night. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is VERY knowledgeable and friendly! It's within walking distance of a lot of activities and restaurants too!
Love the Beachfront Inn. We booked a room two days before and were pleasantly surprised to find it is a very nice and friendly place to stay. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. Easy access to all of Door County as you are 10-20 minutes from it all.
No management staff on property but very accessible and responsive remotely via text. Everything was very automated from check in/out and turning on/off the fire pit.
The motel was clean and met our needs to sleep. Check in was a little weird in that we needed to go to the bar next door to get our key but it was ready to go when we got there.

This was our second stay at Open Hearth and honestly, I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else. From the owners being more than accommodating (WIFI wasn't working in our room, it was fixed in 5 minutes), to the overall staff friendlyness, to the clean room and amazing breakfast (ok, lets talk about that pancake machine - AMAZING!!) This was a great experience. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but can't win everything.... and everything else was PERFECT!

We were very happy with our stay at the Ephraim Motel. It was quiet, clean and everyone was quite friendly. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay in a dry town, this is it. We also played mini golf at the Red Putter across the street. That was a fun game of mini golf and Bob was very accommodating.
Right off the main highway but tucked away so it feels like a retreat. Very friendly staff, wonderful hot tub & bon fire area. Can’t wait to return!!!!
We have been staying at the Waterbury for years! It's one of the best places to stay in Door County in the summer because it is in the heart of the action! We love the outdoor pool and picnic areas! Such a great place for a family. We have space to spread out and we feel at home here! The staff is beyond friendly and kind. For instance, we are not coffee drinkers and I left a note by the keurig type machine requesting 2 teas for the 2nd night of our stay (we only had 1 tea and 5 coffees)...
Check in was easy, the woman at the front desk was very nice! Our room was comfortable and clean. The funky patterns on the walls and blinds was a really cool touch! We stayed only one night, not even 24 hours, but I’d stay again. The price was good and the location was out of the busy area of Fish Creek but still close enough to walk to everything.
