The Coastal Retreat is very cute inside. I love the way it is decorated. It was nice having the fans in the bedrooms, which were spacious enough. The kitchen was nice and spacious as well. The bathroom was nice, ,especially the shower head. I would not say that this home accommodates 6 people. We had 5 in our family. This place is fabulous. The biggest breakfast in a hotel in the US I have ever had and it ’s included in your stay. Excellent location but tucked away so it’s nice and quiet. Hot and cold water coolers on every floor. Staff is attentive and caring. Dog friendly plus the owner’s English bulldogs are often to be found behind the desk in the lobby for cuddles and snorts of love. I will absolutely be staying again!

Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.
