"We loved this lovely hotel! It's small and personable. The gardens are impeccably maintained. The pool area was a pleasure and it has a private beach access! Few hotels in Trancoso have this. The staff is wonderful. Fluent Spanish speaker and several who spoke English. The food was excellent. We especially loved the breakfast buffet. We normally don't like them but this one was different everyday with many wonderful options. Close to El Cuadrado, an amazing shopping area that has plenty of restaurant choices."

"The small property is impeccably kept and appointed. We were sad our stay was only planned for 2 nights…would have been happy to stay and enjoy longer. This location is great for a very quick walk into town; they also offer admittance to their ‘villas’ property just down the road where we enjoyed beach club amenities."

"I can’t say enough good things about Pousada Quarto Crescente. The rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms. The compound itself lovely with great tropical landscaping. Best of all are the people. Everyone there was wonderful. Also included were complimentary daily passes to a great gym. On leaving I was given two huge lemon cakes. Probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had."
