If being by the water is a major draw, Ventnor City Beach is a spot you might want to check out when visiting central Ventnor City. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Margate City Beach, Atlantic City Beach, and Longport Beach.
Ventnor City Pier is in the heart of Ventnor City, so why not stop by during your stay. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is walkable and has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
A boardwalk paradise where the Atlantic laps against wide sandy beaches that somehow feel more relaxed than their flashier Atlantic City neighbors. The wooden promenade invites barefoot wandering past ice cream stands that haven't changed their recipes in decades. Summer brings an influx of 'shoebies' (day-trippers named for their old habit of packing lunch in shoeboxes), though locals maintain their small-town rhythms year-round. The casinos and entertainment of Atlantic City beckon just up the shore, but many visitors prefer Ventnor's quieter charms. Margate City Beach lies just south, while Lakes Bay offers calmer waters for those who've had enough of ocean waves. Seafood restaurants serve the morning's catch with minimal fuss and maximum flavor.
This B&B was by far the best B&B I've ever stayed at! It was quaint and perfectly situated next to the boardwalk. The staff was extremely attentive and pleasant. I will definitely stay there on my next visit to AC!
What a wonderfule place! A refurbished Atlantic City Guest House from the past. Really cute and the breakfast (included) was outstanding! Eggs, bacon, sausage, home baked pastries and cakes; breads and muffins; cereals; fruit; juices. Surpassed my expectations! Beautifully remodeled, but kept the history! Take a chance on this one! Right next to the Tropicana and no problem with parking in their private lot! And the Pub is open 24 hours!
Great experience. Definitely will return. The hotel was clean and didnt smell. The grounds were immaculate. The staff was friendly and attentive. The casino was clean and didnt have the lingering scent of nicotine and smoke. Food was delicious and the servers were also attentive as well.
MY PROBLEM WAS NOT WITH THE HARD ROCK HOTEL BUT EXPEDIA
We were celebrating our “35th” wedding anniversary and booked a stay at the Hard Rock Cafe through Expedia at the recommendation of a friend. Once the reservation was made for “1” day, we tried to upgrade for an additional day and then found out that we were in A smoking room. I immediately tried to reach out too customer service and make. Change and could reach no live body.
I was directed to a virtual rep who informed me that if I made...
Our room was beautiful, with period pieces, and very comfortable. The amenities and free entry into the kitchen were homey touches and much appreciated. Breakfast was graciously served and delicious. All in all, a great stay!
This is such a special place. Everything is so well appointed. It’s warm and honey and I never want to leave. Enjoyed a cup of coffee on the rooftop deck.
The Inn as well as the staff are top notch. We felt instantly comfortable and charmed by the place. The night we arrived, they put some out cold beverages and cookies. We were exhausted from driving, so just being able to chill on the porch after checking in with a beverage transitioned us from "travel" mode to "relaxed" mode. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast both days was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway!
Impressed from start to finish. Huge clean villas that I dare anyone to find a dirty spot anywhere on site. Beautiful quiet scenery with great pools for family and separate pool for adults. BBQ area had clean grills and new. Great game room.. Air hockey. Pinball. Skeeball. Basketball. Ping-pong. Pool table. Resort was full but you wouldn't know it because of spacious areas. Definitely returning. Stayed with wife for anniversary getaway.
The bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms!
Double sinks. On 33rd floor, ocean view.
Room was big, very comfortable bed!
Room service was perfect-great breakfast.
Between Resorts Casino and Hard Rock next door, we had over 35 restaurants to choose from.
Beautiful bar, restaurant, cold drinks pavilion right out front on beach. Free loaner towels. Very clean, not crowded beach. Excellent stay!
This historic hotel has charm and character while providing all of the modern amenities you could want. Walking into the lobby is like entering another era-a simpler time for sure. This feels instantly relaxing and made for a great winter getaway. The proximity to the beach and the boardwalk make it ideal for walking around to the water and the restaurants! It was incredibly peaceful in this quiet, off-season time of year!
Welcoming atmosphere. Newly renovated rooms are beautiful.
Complimentary breakfast was grab and go because of covid safety rules.
I personally appreciated that all precautions and preventative measures were taken at this Hampton Inn concerning covid safety.
I felt comfortable and came back to this Hampton Inn for this reason.
Everything was good .
But,,,,
All the weed smoke smell at the pool and hot tub was terrible it was hard to stay still and enjoy …the food was great all was great we will be back soon .
I loved the convenience of the location being only a block from the beach that wasnt overcrowed and also a block from the boardwalk. The area in and of itself is a block from the Tropicana. A little ran down. The staff was AMAZING and very m accomdating. Our air conditioner broke and they fixed it immediately. The free breakfast is simply that - normal motel breakfast but got the job done.
