Learn more about Encino
Venture along Ventura Boulevard where sushi chefs craft delicate morsels next to delis serving pastrami sandwiches the size of your head. The Encino Farmers Market offers prime celebrity-spotting opportunities without bathroom awkwardness at trendy restaurants. Los Encinos State Historic Park provides a tranquil escape with duck pond and adobe buildings that survived earthquakes and developers. At Balboa Golf Course, weekend warriors and occasional pros share fairways with democratic spirit. Topanga State Park offers hiking trails with views that explain sky-high real estate prices. Universal Studios Hollywood and Venice Beach await nearby, but the true local experience involves brunching while pretending not to notice the sitcom star at the next table.

Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel
"We always stay at the Sheraton Gateway when we travel internationally in order to make early flights. It’s been great for many years because it’s close to the airport - we can walk to the terminal, the restaurant is good, bar is welcoming, rooms are a nice size. The hotel is showing its age, however, and now we are looking elsewhere. It needs a refresh."
Hyatt Place LAX/Century Blvd
"Loved it"
Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport
"Beautiful and bright, conveniently near LAX."
The Biltmore Los Angeles
"Hhhh"
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles
"Some of the best interior design I’ve ever seen. Clean, elegant, and proper. I recommend anyone traveling to Los Angeles, whether it’s for business or pleasure, stay at this hotel."
Sonesta Los Angeles Airport LAX
"This property was very clean, welcoming, has great restaurants in the lobby and an awesome location for walking. The hotel has free airport shuttle serviceI to and from that runs every 20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again."
Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City
"The property was very nice. The staff was not very friendly and we had to ask 4 times to get the correct amount of bedding for four guests. They kept sending a little at a time and telling us that was enough. We were NOT asking for extras. Just enough."
Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard
"Clean and relatively comfortable. Our room had the sink outside the bathroom, which some people might not like — not sure if it’s like that for other rooms. The lighting was not my favorite — hard to explain, but very fluorescent and both too bright and not bright enough at the same time. Room was very large, which was nice. Shuttle to LAX in the morning took forever, so that part wasn’t great. Staff were super friendly and professional. Hotel was serviceable and I’d stay again, but it’s not at the top of my list."
Holiday Inn Los Angeles - LAX Airport by IHG
"Super clean and everyone was very helpful"
