I was so surprised by how much I loved this property. It’s dog friendly and the staff is so nice. They have a great free breakfast buffet and free soup and salad every night. Walking trails just outside and lots of dining options. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had an end room on the first floor which was great for our dog. The room had high ceilings and was very spacious. Laundry, gym, pool, spa, sauna, and steam room. I’d definitely book here again.
Appreciated the Underground pkg., although the spaces were a bit small to maneuver. Liked that there were convenient & walkable places eat in the area. The staff was very friendly.
We had an incredible stay here. You can’t beat the location and the price. I felt this block was in a nicer portion of downtown. There weren’t people sleeping on the sidewalks outside and the light rail is only two blocks away. We also parked our car in a parking garage one block away for $30 a day. Would absolutely stay here again if we can get it for this great price again.
The staff I interacted with everyday at the Watertown Hotel during my 4-night stay there were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very convenient and safe area. House keeping is offered every other day, which works perfect for me. Room amenities, such as coffee was not automatically refilled during room cleaning. The waffles are great and I liked the mini waffles. Some of the egg dishes were sub par. I like that you offer several types of cold cereal and hot oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar and sliced almond. Fresh fruit was good.
As an older person with limited mobility, I found most of the chairs in the breakfast room to be way too low or too high. I did sit on the banquettes and found I had no trouble standing.
I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there in the future.
The hotel is across from a Target, a block from Pikes market and an easy walk(with luggage), to Westlake train station. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site( Ben Paris) has really good food. But the best thing is the bed!!!!
