Learn more about Little Falls
Cascading through a rocky defile, the Mohawk River creates the namesake falls that once challenged early travelers. Lock 17 stands as the highest lift lock east of the Rockies, a testament to Erie Canal engineering that tamed these waters. Burke Park offers peaceful respite while the Little Falls Historical Society Museum chronicles the city's industrial past. Art lovers can browse local works at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts before sampling craft brews at Rock City Brewing Company. For geological wonders, head to nearby Herkimer Diamond Mines where you can dig for perfectly formed quartz crystals. Eastern Park's natural setting provides a perfect counterpoint to the historic architecture downtown, where century-old buildings house quirky shops and unexpected treasures.

Rodeway Inn Little Falls
"Nice basic hotel room in cute little town. Railway is right next door but with ac on it didn't bother us and I don't think there's any place you wouldn't have heard it"
Lake House
"Had the most wonderful time. The lake house itself is beautiful and the property is on a beautiful lake front with views and docks. We had an amazing meal for dinner and enjoyed a band on the stage infront of the water in the evening. We were allowed to use the lodges kayaks for free and enjoyed a magical sunset paddle on the lake while the band played. When we returned to shore, there were fire pits set up all around the property with fires burning and piles of wood beside each fire pit and chairs set up in front of each pit. We were truly blown away and were not expecting all of these experiences. Would recommend to anyone and will 100% stay again next time we are in the area."
Red Roof Inn Utica
"Great staff and perfect location. My only complaint is that despite having a non smoking room, my room still smelled terribly of smoke. At one point it may have been a room for smoking but other than that, the stay was great."
Quality Inn & Suites New Hartford - Utica
"Nice property. Breakfast was good."
Burrstone Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"Very clean and new"
Lake 'N Pines Motel
"We loved staying at Lake N Pines. The lake access with perfect for kids when not at Dreams Parks watching baseball. Parking was an issue for myself because can't walk far. Sometimes no spots available in front of room. Plus our room was very small for the week. Other people staying had much larger rooms."
Days Inn by Wyndham Utica
"Not fancy but reasonably priced and the front desk staff is excellent."
Lake Front Hotel
"Beautiful location right in the lake and 2 blocks from the Hall of Fame. We liked the covered outdoor chairs to look at the lake, as well as chairs to sit and have lunch by the marina. Sadly they had a big fire in late July shutting down the restaurant, but thankfully the hotel is still open. We will stay here again when we come back. Nice staff, clean rooms, warm shower!"
Canal Side Inn
"The staff was wonderful"
