We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay has been. Blake & Mara are very personable accommodating hosts. So many amenities that no other hotel in the area offers: personal hot tubs, and sauna, fits larger families that most hotels can’t, full kitchen, fire pit, fireplace. Everything you need is here. The price for what you get is a steal. Book it and enjoy! You will not be disappointed! 5 stars!!! And yes the pictures are all accurate.

This place was wonderful. To the person who whined because it was small or the shower was small, that is a ludicrous reason to give someone mediocre rating when everything else is outstanding. We are a healthy weight so to is it was all just the right size. All the little touches had it great. The little heater that resembled a fire place, the wood walls, the bear spray LOL, the light switches with bears on them, a fully stocked kitchen. It was so homely we looked forward to getting back just...

We really enjoyed our stay at the River house. The room was open and clean and had all the essentials and then some. The kitchenette was well stocked and has a fridge, coffee bar, dishwasher and a two-burner countertop stove. The views are incredible and it was so nice to come back from the park and relax on the deck. Check-in was super easy! The River House is located about 10 minutes from Gardiner but still easily accessible to the park and town. Highly recommend! Thanks for having us!

Before we went into Yellowstone, we spent a night here. It's a very quiet and lovey hotel, just 10 minutes driving to the west entrance of YNP. The staff were helpful, especially Brian who is the reception at frontdesk. He helped provide a lot of information, and even set up an extra bed for our son since we thought the queen bed seemed small for us three. We had a great dinner too in their restaurant, reasonable price, rustic decoration, we liked it very much.
