We loved the fireplace as well but when you lay down you can't see the fire and it was uncomfortable to sit at the end of the bed. A cozy area should be in front of the fire place. "We really enjoyed our stay at Berkshire Mountain Lodge. For what we paid - we absolutely feel like we got a great bang for our buck. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and our suite was massive. It included a kitchen with all the bells and whistles (stove/stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher), a full size living room, separate bedroom (with a kingsize mattress), and spacious bathroom. It was so comfortable. We absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you're looking for a reasonably priced accommodation."
