Great little place. I usually stay at Marriott’s or Hilton properties and I travel every week. Those kind of hotels weren’t available in this little town. But this place turned out to be a real gem. The big guys could learn something from them.
The hotel is unique and wonderful. It is an unmanned property, so you won’t necessarily see another person while you’re there. You’ll receive a door code when you arrive, and instructions on where to find the key to your room. There is a large common room with kitchen facilities and room to gather and relax. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable, as did the air conditioning unit with a remote control. Shampoo, conditioner...
I had driven by the hotel several times traveling though the area but it didn't have a sign, so I thought it was some sort of retirement home.
Then it popped up as an option on Expedia so I reserved.
It turned out they had only been open 3 weeks and had just put the sign up 3 days before my stay.
Staff was great, breakfast was above average for this type of lodging, all facilities and fixtures looked and felt upscale. Of course, everything was brand new, but it looked like quality...
Friendly staff, clean room, and overall clean property. They were serving a cheese omelets, had a waffle maker, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit among other options which was nice to see as it is not being offered now at so many other places. Coffee was hot and fresh and a variety of creamers were available. Overall nice stay.
