Learn more about Marfa
Minimalist art installations rise from the desert landscape in this unlikely creative haven. The Chinati Foundation Museum showcases large-scale works that play with the vast Texas sky. After dark, join locals at viewing platforms to spot the mysterious Marfa Lights dancing across the horizon. Building 98 offers a glimpse into the town's military past, now repurposed for artistic endeavors. Ballroom Marfa hosts cutting-edge exhibitions in a converted dancehall. Farm-to-table eateries serve sophisticated fare that would seem at home in much larger cities. The Marfa and Presidio County Museum chronicles the transformation from water stop to art destination. For outdoor adventure, head to nearby Big Bend Ranch State Park with its rugged hiking trails and spectacular vistas.

The Lincoln Marfa
"Beautifully aesthetic place, I loved the stay it felt like I was at home. This place inspired me in what I’d like for myself in a home"
Riata Inn
"Good pit stop. Gave Bates Motel vibes at night. Not bad though. The hot water takes a bit to warm up so you kinda got to stand there in some luke warm water for 8-10 min."
Motel Marfa
"We really enjoyed our stay at Motel Marfa! The whole place was beautiful, cozy, and had the perfect Marfa feel. You can really tell how much thought went into the little details throughout the property, which made the experience feel extra special. The sauna was definitely one of our favorite touches and such a nice way to relax after spending the day exploring. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly and welcoming everything felt. Overall, we had such a lovely stay. Between the attention to detail, the atmosphere, and all the thoughtful touches, Motel Marfa really added to our trip. We would absolutely stay again!"
Cibolo Creek Ranch And Resort
"Cibolo Creek Ranch is the best overall lodging in the USA, and included in the 5 best in the world based upon my very wide travels since 1981 in 93 countries. The finest dining, wine list, scenery, facilities, peace and quiet, comfort, employees and service. All employees are exceptional as were the sea bass and rib eye dinners over 2 nights. Even the owner’s dogs (Rosie and Annie) were Class A."
Hotel Saint George
"By far the best option in Marfa. But, that is a low bar. Don't expect a good restaurant experience in-house. Don't expect a great coffee shop in-house. Don't expect a proper fitness/training facility. Don't expect a quiet/comfy lobby. Room is very nice, though."
