Learn more about Rockaway Beach
Twin Rocks stand sentinel over seven miles of pristine beach where agate hunters sift through sand after winter storms. The Old Growth Cedar Preserve offers an elevated walkway through wetlands to 'The Big Tree' - a cedar that's witnessed centuries pass. Crabbing at Kelly's Brighton Marina provides both dinner and stories to take home. The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad chugs along the shoreline, offering views impossible from Highway 101. Nearby Nehalem Bay State Park rewards with quiet beaches and excellent kayaking opportunities. When fog rolls in, locals duck into cafes where clam chowder comes with a side of fishing tales. Don't miss Manhattan Beach, where fewer footprints mean better chances of finding perfect sand dollars.

Surfside Resort
"I stayed in the Oceanfront Family Suite non-pet room. The balcony had a fantastic view of the ocean & shore line. The kitchen was clean, the large refrigerator, microwave & stove were great & worked well. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, & had hot water, always. The pool was warm, clean & inviting. The parking lot had lots of good parking. The property is getting upgrades with more lawn chairs, gas fire pits, & areas to use for ocean viewing. Both TVs worked well with multiple stations. The rooms could use a little up grade to furniture, rugs & paint. We had plenty of towels. The prices are good compared to Cannon Beach properties. Staff was friendly, helpful. We had a question at 10 pm, but the office was not staffed then. I do recommend staying here for location & affordable price."

"Love the beach view. Definitely worth it"

"The property was prefect for our family size, just the living room table was a bit of an issue . But overall it was the prefect location for my bday weekend."
Tradewinds Motel
"Great views and helpful service. Their strict rule against cooking seafood is kind of a drag and sometimes we don't stay here for that reason"
