Between volcanic mud baths and natural hot springs, your body will thank you for visiting this quirky northern Napa Valley town. Old Faithful Geyser erupts with clockwork precision, while Chateau Montelena Winery offers tastings in a stone castle straight from a fairytale. Float above vineyards in a hot air balloon for views that explain why this valley became world-famous. The downtown proudly bans fast food chains, favoring local restaurants where chefs know their farmers by name. After wine tasting, hike through Pioneer Park or paddle the Napa River. For the ultimate Calistoga experience, book a spa treatment involving volcanic ash and mineral water – the same remedy that's drawn 'healthy hedonists' here since the 1860s.
We had the pleasure of staying at Luxe Calistoga while visiting the area for a concert. We were completely amazed during our stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It has been completely remodeled and the rooms are gorgeous. No detail has been overlooked and the hotel has a warm and inviting feel. The wrap around porch was the perfect setting for brunch and an evening glass of wine. But on top of this, the owners (Brent & Chris) go above and beyond to create an outstanding experience. ...
We experienced staff that were accommodating and friendly both in the hotel and at Sol Bar. The amenities such as chai tea, bottle water, bicycles and complimentary Mercedes Benz made it worth it.
Sol Spa was a tranquil experience until the cashier presumptively added a tip onto my bill and practically embarrassed me so I'd sign it. Apparently, that is what the Sol Spa suggests clients to pay. I was confused as to why i could not privately determine my own tip. The spa experience was quickly in...
Private little cottages with hardwood floors and deep soaking tubs, wine and cheese at night and a huge breakfast with quiches, waffles and espresso in the morning, your own complimentary bikes for your stay (with helmets , locks, backpacks, and bottled water supplies), plus a picnic basket in your room for your day trips to the wineries. And you can walk across the street to hot springs. Love it.
Excellent experience! We walked every night to the restaurants. Lots of cute shops all over. The rooms are fabulous. Very quiet. Awesome breakfast in the morning from Model Bakery! Staff are great!! Free parking.
Very charming location in Calistoga. Peaceful and right next to a working vineyard. Excellent service from Adilene. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.
Meadowwood is a special place. We stayed in a treetop room with a balcony overlooking the pool. It was luxury all the way. We enjoyed a meal at the poolside bar and were entertained by a gracious bartender who took good care of us. Everyone we encountered treated us well. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Everything is good at this hotel. We will come to stay again. Front desk and cleaning ladies are very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean. They make very good coffee. Complimentary in-room breakfast is convenient. The location is great
Fantastic stay! Nicole was friendly and gave us a personal experience, we can’t thank her enough. Loved the location and the room was perfect. Would definitely recommend this property.
What a gem. Absolutely perfect stay & location. Everyone that worked there was incredibly kind & helpful. Mudbaths & massages were outstanding. Location is ideal. Had such a great time & made wonderful memories. I will definitely be back!
My wife and I checked in here on our Honeymoon and we’re immediately greeted by some of the nicest people we’ve met so far. Extremely helpful and nice and they also upgraded us on our Honeymoon to a wonderful room looking out at the Vineyard. The room was incredible, large and very scenic. We even had our own in room fireplace.
The staff is absolutely amazing, and that extends to the Harvest Kitchen which is located near check in. The food service was wonderful, including their pre fix menus....
We could walk the 2 blocks for shopping and dinner. The owners
were great, loved breakfast outside each day, We stayed just 2 night so we had a smaller room. Next time we will stay longer and opt for something larger. We also had a massage one day, Nina and Salvatore were both excellent.
This was a charming cottage that was super clean, lovely setting and nice comfy furnishings. We loved the attention to detail, the beautiful artwork by local artists. The coffee from a local roasting house was wonderful with the best, biggest croissants I have ever had:) My only regret, that we were not staying longer!
The hotel grounds were lovely, and the room was comfortable and spacious, but the overall service, while friendly, is not as good as it should be for the price. The front desk completely neglected to tell us about any of the "extras", like the free wine tastings at Ferrari-Carrano vineyards (value of $35 per person), the complimentary daily wine tasting at the hotel, and the corkage fee waiver at John Ashe for bottles purchased at Ferrari-Carrano ($25 value). None of these perks are mentioned on...
My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. It had the perfect location for our trip and was very close to Main Street for shopping and eating. The beds were fabulous and the breakfasts were to die for. I will dream about the homemade croissants forever. The innkeeper went out of her way for our particular requests. Nice historic property; parking was easier than I expected. We could walk many places, as well.
