This is an older hotel - kinda feels like visiting my grandma. That said, the rooms are spacious, the folks are super friendly. If you need 5-star, go elsewhere. If you want friendly and affordable with good amenities, stay here. I stay here every time I travel to a Bay Area race.
The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly, even going so far as to remember and address me by my name when greeting me in the morning.
My primary complaints would be 1) the road noise, which, for the most part can be shut out by...
My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very well maintained. The bar and restaurant was onsite and delicious. The breakfast was fabulous as well. Not just your regular hotel breakfast. They also have a cook that makes omelets and eggs anyway you like them. Rooms are super cute little 1 bedroom studios. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. We will definitely book here again when in the area.
For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.
Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating as we arrived a couple hours before check in and they were able to get us a room rather quickly. We were okay if they were not able to but I appreciate they were able to make the effort.
Castle Inn was safe, clean and economical. Our only complaint was a wet towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that the room was very clean, it was safe and had free parking.
We go to SF a lot and always stay here. It’s central walking distance to a lot, clean, the best staff works there. Rooms are clean and large, love the rooftop and the garden.
