The staff was outstanding. We were having all sorts of airline trouble because of a strike. They were very helpful. breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view was beautiful. With balconies. A little bit of road noise, but not much. Earplugs helped me because I’m a light sleeper. Very few others would have problems.. It’s not like it was a busy road, but when a car went by, you could hear it because the road is right next to the beautiful lake that they are on.

Posada Los Alamos was a great hotel. It was larger than we realized, but it had a really homey feel and the staff was very attentive. The front desk helped with anything we asked for - from calling us a taxi to calling car rental places to find an available car. The pool and sauna areally wonderful ways to relax, especially if you have just finished a long hike! Breakfast had a nice selection. Plus, the hotel is within walking distance of the bus station and plenty of shops and restaurants.

We rented a car so can’t speak to other forms of transportation. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The staff at the restaurant very friendly. The hotel is not constructed of high quality materials but was put together well. Drinks were very expensive and on par with New York.. humm. Stayed in the one bedroom suite facing the lake. Breakfast was included and delicious. Would recommend and would stay again.

Alejandro was so friendly and very accommodating! The cabin was adorable and had everything you could need. Breakfast was a delicious spread of toast and spreads and cakes. The location is great if you have a car - free parking and a super close drive (<5 min to the town), but also feels quiet and a bit separate from the activity of town, which is great for relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer, but would definitely stay here again if we make it back to El Calafate.

Our GPS took us right to this very attractive bed and breakfast. The place was built by the family that runs it, it is spotless, beautifully decorated, and the family is extremely friendly and accommodating. Although it seems a little farther than it ultimately is, we walked into Calafate Center Avenue and contemplated many restaurants before choosing one that we want. We enjoyed our wine, so took a cab home which was very affordable. The only very slight negative is that shower curtain is...

The hotel was toasty warm. Those 6 inch walls kept the heat in and if one wanted to cool off it was easy to just open the window and have a cool breeze come in. The breakfast was supposed to open at 6 am which it did but the cook didn't cook the eggs and bacon or anything hot until 6:30 which is inconvenient if a bus is picking you up at 6:30 to go on a trip. Other than that this is a very nice hotel and the staff are great.
