Spent two nights here in late June 2024 in and ocean front room. Hotel was recently opened and in great condition; sleek rooms with simple, yet classy aesthetic. The breakfast is top notch; the pool is lovely coupled with great beach access. Am now staying at a very fancy and much more expensive resort near Marbella, and feel METT was the far better option, especially for the price. We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, clean and conveniently located. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette and big balcony. Breakfast was delicious and had healthy options. Next to the hotel, there is a path that you can take to have a nice walk through lush landscaping and it leads you to the ocean. We had a great time in Estepona. I highly recommend this hotel!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are wanting a calm and easy ambiance hotel with great pool area and bar. We were there for business and had quite a few documents to print up for clients meetings. The front desk was always happy to help with our every need. No charge. Amazingly beautiful hotel, fantastic for golf lovers. The Spa is one of the most beautiful I ever saw, and I travelled a lot around the world. On view an antuques collection of more than 1200 pieces, impressive.

We loved the hotel! It was fully booked and still you didn't feel it. The layout of the hotel facilities was great. The apartment had everything you need for a stay with small kids, it's quite spacious and comfortable. It was nice that we could choose to either go to the restaurant or have a homemade meal. My husband and I have been going to this resort for the past three years every 6 months. I have family in the area and it's very convenient for us. Many staff members know us and are very welcoming. The rooms are spotless. There is always someone busy cleaning and happy doing it. The pool area is lovely. The decking gets hot so wear sandals. The breakfast is very satisfying with a variety of choices. Lunch and dinner is also available and delicious, making it easy to stay put if needed. ...

I stayed at El Pilar last March and returned for one night because of the service, location and beautiful property. The front desk is always helpful and always wear a smile. The recognized I had been there in March, so check in was easy. The roof top bar is awesome as is a light breakfast downstairs.
