This is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine and your perfect partner. My wife and I stayed here kinda last minute and ended up with a suite that had a hot tub and fireplace. The view of Lake Michigan was amazing. This is not the newest or most contemporary hotel. In fact it reminded me of the 70's / 80's summer camps but the rooms were super clean and everything worked perfectly. Walls were a little thin so try not to be too loud. I was absolutely amazed when I arrived. I came in super late like after midnight to avoid traveling in a bad storm. I thought I could grab my stuff and get to the lobby but it started raining when I was walking through the parking lot. A lady on the night staff was running toward me with an umbrella! And she was apologetic she didn't make it to me on time -- I don't think I've ever seen care like that for a late night arrival. Super thankful and impressed.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights to visit family. We had our little dog with us and were given a bottom room close to the side door for our convenience. We also explained that we would have our daughter and her 2 kids with us for a few of the nights, so that we could all spend time together.
