You can walk (20+ minutes each way) to the public beach at Aguia Blava which is large. Driving is easy to the beach, just a couple of minutes but the parking lot is full by 9:30am so you have to go early."

Modern beautiful hotel situated uphill above Girona, walkable to town, incredible restaurant and pool terrace with views to the mountains and over the city. The standard double room and bathroom were quite spacious, forest view was nice. Very comfortable bed. Lovely buffet breakfast, can eat indoors or on terrace."
