The property is located within a 3 min drive to Mt Rushmore. There is a buffett brkfast that is actually good, waffles, eggs, toast, bacon, milk and juice. It was a great start. There is a Sprockets within walking distance that provided beer and pizza, arcade games and entertainment. Great because it was open in the winter. Could not recommend more. The hotel was clean and had a nice hot breakfast. The service at the front desk was above and beyond. We mostly saw Mario, who was always happy to greet us, no matter the hour or what he was doing. The location could not be better. The town of Hill City itself has so much to offer. It is also a short distance from all the local attractions we saw (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Rapid City, Bear Country, Sylvan Lake, etc). We will definitely be back!

We came in very late and the hotel manager was very helpful. He literally left the porch light on for us. We stayed in a cabin for the first night and then transferred over to a family room.
