"The Hotel has an absolutely unrivalled location.Views are incredible. I was saddened to hear of the uncertainty of its permanence but the building does require some refurbishment. Staff were excellent and room comfortable with stunning sea view. A suggestion.... it's not a Commercial Hotel so why start your breakfast service at 7am.a far better time for guest..and hotel would be 8am till 10:30."

"The room was well presented,very calm decor in room 5, Aircon worked well , as we had unusually warm weather for late September, hadn't appreciated how close to the train line we were ,bit minimal sound from it . Good size TV and ample coffees and teas ...no biscuits tho 😉 , maybe a bottle of water in the room would be a nice addition. . Bedding was fresh and clean ,but found the mattress quite firm for me . Bathroom good size and lovely powerful shower with good size cubicle. Dinner was delicious 😋, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was of the continental kind ,but enough choice and we left full. Staff were efficient both in check in and at Dinner and Breakfast. Garden are looked very smart but only stayed one night so didn't get to sit out there."

"Lovely quiet room overlooking the river at the back of the hotel. Hanging and storage space was limited, but not a problem as we were only staying in the hotel 2 nights, We ate dinner in the hotel each night, but sadly that was a big let down. Beef Bourguignon and lemon meringue pie were far from what we expected, such a shame. Breakfast was adequate, but not extensive. A big plus is the electric vehicle charging points, so easy to charge our EV overnight. A very convenient hotel on the outskirts of Bournemouth, we were very happy with our stay, just let down by the food."

"We had a pet friendly room overlooking the harbour. It was a good size and ample for our two dogs. Some of the furniture is now a little tired, but the bed was comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and gave our dogs lots of fuss and attention. The restaurant team in the evenings was exceptional. They couldn’t do enough for us. Accommodated us at short notice and even repositioned us so we could watch the sun set. The food was fantastic. The team at breakfast were far less welcoming and a little more care was needed when cooking. We had overcooked bacon and eggs."
