Good clean tiny motel. Loved it.
One negative, If you want to see Grand Teton NP, it is about an hour away plus need to cross high Teton pass on the way.
Tough driving roads.
Breakfast can be improved.
We last minute had to find a new place to stay and stumbled upon the Jackson Hole Hideout and we were not disappointed!! The owner of the property answered any questions I had leading up to our stay and Amy and Eddie went above and beyond during our stay. It’s very clean, a chic mountain vibe, close to downtown Jackson hole and overall was such a pleasure staying here! We would love to come back and rent out the entire house with friends during the ski season.
Also, we highly recommend Nora’s...
We stayed here for two nights before heading out to tour Yellowstone. Everything was as you would expect an expensive facility to be. We were more interested in sightseeing than in using the nice facilities at the hotel, so cannot rate those amenities. The stay was very very nice, but the location was a bit far out from Jackson and required some time to get to and from town.
This hotel was in between stops on our trip and it was the perfect place for us. The room was clean, the AC worked and the breakfast was great. We also found the staff to be really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
The staff was incredibly helpful, from including asking me where I was going to dinner and informing me of a problem that the restaurant I was headed experienced earlier that day (some equipment broke) to recommending another outstanding restaurant instead - to just chatting in the common room. They were better than any 5-star concierge.
Nice to have those ever present afternoon cookies, too!
The breakfast was great - including those homemade blueberry muffins!
Fascinating structure - and...
I booked this hotel in error - thinking it was another hotel closer to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Best mistake I ever made - just into Idaho - the lodge was beautiful, quiet - with everything you could ever want - view, swimming, golf and wonderful food and staff. Easy access to West Yellowstone was a bonus! My son and I had a trip of a lifetime!
Great host lives next door. Everything you needed was provided. Apartment type setting with full kitchen, bath, stackable washer and dryer. Shared deck overlooking beautiful views. Very clean and quiet. Anything you needed host was available to help out. We accidentally left our carry-on bag behind on way to the airport early morning when leaving and host got up early and met us halfway to bring it to us so we wouldn't miss our flight. Great place to stay when wanting to visit Yellowstone or...
Tallum is heaven on earth. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have stunning views of the Tetons and of the beautiful meadows filled with cattle herd beneath them. The staff are so polite and friendly and my kids loved the free smores in the evening. The grounds are very close to Teton village so lots of great restaurants close by. Just make sure to get a room at the front and also be prepared for so me e road nose. Still a 5 out of 5 for me though.
Tetonia is a place nearly no one has heard of. It's not far from Driggs, ID which only a few understand. That said, Our experience at the Teton Peaks Lodge (motel) was exceptional. The new owners have done a great job at renovating. They're very personable and accommodating. The rooms are not 4-star, but out here who cares. The view of the back side of the Tetons is spectacular! I'll definitely be back.
Spacious and comfortable standalone cabins.
A perfect location for fishing, hunting or general getaway tourist sightseeing stay. Also, given the space and price, a super option to Jackson. Pets are accepted and while there was some concern with being close to the highway, there was never a noise issue. Definitely will be our choice in the Teton County region from now on.
The lodge is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It has that homey feeling with the extensive use of wood throughout. The rooms were very comfortable and large. Solid wood furniture and wood trim made it feel like home. The view of the slopes from our room was spectacular. The restaurant fantastic and the food was great along with the wait staff. I can't wait for our next trip to Jackson because we will be staying there again.
