I first stayed here 19 years ago for my sister’s wedding. The property has expanded a bit, to include an onsite restaurant, which is very good and breakfast and one dinner entree are included. The fresh and a decent variety. Typical spices in a dish have a distinctly Costa Rican twist.
The entire staff is helpful, attentive and courteous. The grounds are well maintained but still keep the jungle authenticity..just as it was years ago.

Loved this place! So happy we found it! A little oasis off the main street. Short walk to great restaurants and beach. Rooms had good A/C and the pool was clean and refreshing. The owner Barbara was very welcoming and helped us arrange a fishing trip. Andrea cooked us marvelous breakfasts and Ines gave my daughter and I an introductory yoga lesson. Fantastic stay!
The room was a great value and offered everything we needed. Given the low price point, we had budget questions that the staff were unable to help with (such as local bus schedules), but overall, they were pleasant and accommodating.
Staff was amazing at this property and the overall vibe was wonderful. Amazing pool (I HATE pools but this one I had to go in). Hotel beachfront is one of the better and higher class feeling beachfronts in the immediate area.

Shared bathroom and shower were unexpected but likely because I just didn't notice it in the description of the room.
The owner and staff made this the most chill stay we had in CR. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pool was clean and very relaxed. The breakfast was superb. The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes. We extended our stay because it was the situation was perfect.
Super great location. Conveniently close to many amenities including groceries and a yoga place. Quite close to Santa Teresa beach. A tad noisy but is completely acceptable given the other pluses. Ps. Bedding and beds were ve try comfortable!
What a great spot. We saw some shaky reviews but we were so happy. Our room was fantastic, great sunset scene, gorgeous setting and the best yoga studio. I would highly recommend this hotel right on the beach.

We used the hotel bus from San Jose, comfortable and excellent service. Reception staff Gonzalo & Alex outstanding. Very pls with the staff in the restaurants and with the cleanness regardless we stayed on a long week end with lots of people. The food was very good as well as the maintenance and cleanness of the room. The gardens beautiful ! The beach, if you walk a few yards to the left you can find a lovely beach with lots of vegetation nearby.

Nya is a beautiful property with wildlife all around. I was able to watch a family if howler monkeys from the hammock outside my room. They left me a yummy dessert daily in my room they put in while I was out. The free breakfast menu had a variety of options including vegetarian. Property is town so walkable and beach is right across flyer road from the property. Got the best massage there as well.
Clean comfy place literally 2 min walk from the beach and main little strip with shops and restaurants. Amazingly helpful and Honest staff! I left my $200 earbuds behind, and the manager Gabriel went out of his way to package and mail it to my home in California! Pura Vida
