We had one night here and had to catch the ferry to Malta in the morning. The owners were amazing! We arrived late and they gave us snacks (delicious homemade cookies), made us coffee and sat with us to go over the town and where to eat. We had to leave early so they brought us our breakfast before bed so we would be able to eat in the morning.
It is a very nice hotel. However, there was no shampoo and conditioner. When I inquired at the desk, one of the employees went out to buy me some! Now, that is service!
The hotel was very clean and attractive. Staff was most helpful. The breakfast was excellent with delicious fresh baked croissants. The outdoor pool was beautiful and the whole setting was peaceful and restful.
Incredible setting and resort design. Everything was perfect. You could tell that a good architect was involved. They had the best pool I ever swimmed in. The Spa is new, as the hotel and very good. Latest electronic technology everywhere. It took a while to get used to it.
Fantastic location and great hotel. The views can’t be beat. The hotel is actually nicer in person and has an amazing pool area with views. We had a balcony with hot tub and it also had the same fantastic view. There is a climb back from town with many stairs but Modica is many stairs unless you drive or taxi into town.
A lovely property, peaceful, well-kept with lovely clean rooms. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were really helpful. Delicious restaurant perfect for the evenings. Parking is also very convenient. Will definitely stay again!
We spent two nights at modica palace hotel. It is a wonderful place with courteous and pleasant staff. Superb cleanliness all around and a wonderful breakfast awaited us. Hotel is close to some shops, pizzeria and coffee shop. One has to take pool towels with him since they are not supplied. Few umbrellas would also be great around the pool since we experienced scorching sun and high temperatures at the time. The pool and area was meticulously clean.
The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. This is especially a good place to stay if you are catching the ferry to Malta. The ferry is a five minute drive. I would stay there again.
A beautiful clean hotel with a remarkable staff and a very nice breakfast. Within walking distance of much of the main attractions in downtown. An added bonus was the gift of complementary tour train tickets upon arrival. Would absolutely stay here again. Very highly recommended.
Quiet family-owned resort across the street from the Vendecari reserve. Home cooked dinners that were among the best we had in Italy. Free access to a beautiful beach on the Mediterranean. Lovely breakfast spread with fresh eggs available on order. Highly recommend!
