Everything about this property felt special—from the stunning location and breathtaking views to the serene atmosphere, charming rooms, and outstanding amenities like the pool, hot tub, and sauna. It’s truly the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Portugal. The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s the most peaceful retreat you could hope for.

We stayed at the Quinta S. Bernardo in late September and we can’t say enough about this property! The property is just beautiful with a stunning view of the Douro River and surrounded by the vineyards. The Quinta is family owned and lovingly and beautifully designed and decorated. All our meals were straight from the farm, from the breakfast to the lunches to the exquisite dinners made by the chef, everything was incredibly fresh. But what makes this property even more special is the utmost...
