"Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. "We had a wonderful stay at Timber Cove Resort and would absolutely return. Nestled along the rugged coastline, the property offers sweeping ocean views and a sense of calm the moment you arrive. It feels special without trying too hard. We stayed in a suite with a wraparound deck facing the ocean, and it was exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the views were truly unforgettable. Even though there was a big storm during our stay, we still caught some sunshine and even saw seals playing in the cove below. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt thoughtful and genuinely kind. I mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday, and the front desk surprised us with a small cheese plate as an afternoon snack, followed by celebratory glasses of wine at dinner. Lovely and unexpected. Overall, Timber Cove delivered a memorable, relaxing experience with excellent atmosphere, stunning scenery, and truly gracious hospitality."
