We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga. If you’re planning a trip to Northern Portugal, do not miss this treasure. We felt so lucky to stay at the gorgeous recently renovated former convent. The design is stunning; the food is incredible, even if you only have breakfast or a light poolside lunch. There are many dining options in the town walkable from hotel. We skipped a trip to the beach—the hotel was that beautiful— infinity pool is wonderful. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough,

Hotel was clean and the AC was working great! The staff was helpful and breakfast was excellent.

This was a total surprise. Seemed corporate but my god, the food was amazing. Clean, on the sea. Amazing breakfast buffet and dinners. Complete gem with great amenities. Do not be fooled by the corporate look. Terrace with sea views and walking is easy.

Me encanto este lugar, me super impresiono lo limpio que estaba todo, el personal muy amable necesite mas toallas y enseguida que llame vinieron a traerlas, el chico de la recepción me ayudo a encontrar una tienda que estaba buscando, parqueo amplio, algo Difícil de encontrar en el area, el restaurante tiene un menu variado con precios aceptables, y el buffet del desayuno muy bueno, los recomiendo 100% y repetiría sin dudas.

Comfortable room; nice private bathroom; comfortable air conditioning. Helpful, friendly staff. Cool property with chocolate museum attached; building was a former chocolate factory. Central location in safe area; convenient to shopping and dining. Safe street parking was available and convenient. Would stay there again.
