Checking in was simple. The desk clerk was very helpful and spoke English and German. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel facing the street. The room interior was clean, modern and furnished well. The bathroom was nice, spacious with a tub/shower combined.
Centrally situated in old town, parking is a slight challenge. The hotel suggested using lot P4 or P5 to park overnight at 6 Euros. The walk is about 400...
The room was very clean and very spacious for my family. The property was beautiful and the resturaunt was fantastic. I have recommened this hotel to all of my friends traveling in the area.
The hotel was much larger than we expected for the small town of Herrieden, but it was a very nice stay. The breakfast was very nice and we appreciated the scrambled eggs! The room was comfortable, but could use air conditioning in the warmer months. We look forward to coming back!
We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return.
Rothenburg o. d. Tauber is a great place to visit and this hotel was located on the street where you enter from the train station, so it is very easy to find. And also about three stores from the square which is a great location for exploring. It was clean and quiet and had a great free breakfast.

This property is well maintained and the service was excellent. It is roughly 10 minutes walking distance to the train station which has routes to Nuremberg and Rothenberg. The restaurant is fantastic and very well priced. Our room was spacious (even by U.S. standards) and modern, and I never heard any noise from neighboring guests. Honestly the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was available if you purchased it. Don’t expect a full spread of protein. If you’re on a higher floor and you have heavy luggage prepare for that. The room has a rotating floor fan and a separate mini ac unit but there wasn’t really a way to hook it up to the window in my room so it got pretty warm. Overall the place is located near the train station , short walk and if you are visiting folks in the military you aren’t getting any closer.
Very cute, quaint hotel in Rothenburg. Our entire group really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean. The included breakfast was phenomenal. One of the best selections of buffet items I've seen in my European travels. Our room was spacious, and they welcomed you with a small token of candy and included bottle of water. Parking was close by and had two options: underground or external. Our friends did the underground and said the spots were tight. I suggest the external - it is about two streets down...
Absolutely adorable pub/hotel in Rothenburg! Though driving in old town was a little stressful... this hotel has limited parking in the back which was convenient once we had some help finding it. Location is perfect! Especially for Christmas markets. Our room was spacious and warm. We also ate downstairs in the restaurant and the food was absolutely lovely as well as the service. I'm extremely happy with our experience and will recommend this property to others.
