"Standard Best Western. No frills. Cheaper than most hotels, clean, albeit a little tired looking, very friendly and helpful staff. I was expecting a buffet breakfast but it was table service and guests ordered hot items from a menu. There was cereal, juice and fruit that guests could help themselves to. Room was simple but clean. I would stay again."

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily and temperature was perfect. The bar next door is open till 11 pm and always had a good vibe. Excellent hotel!
This was probably the best hotel experience we've had in years. The staff was the best we've ever interacted with. They offer a wine and cheese night Monday through Wednesday and their breakfast is excellent. Staff treated us like family and they acted as if they were owners of a bed and breakfast. The laundry room works very well and the gym was very nice. We stayed there for 8 days. The location is perfect and Central to everything you want to do in Newcastle.
Second time at Holiday Inn in Newcastle Jesmond and I love it. The staff was so pleasant and respectful. They go above and beyond to meet your need.This hotel will always be my pick every time I spend time in Newcastle. Kudos to the kitchen staff. They are the nicest!The continental breakfast was awesome!
Very comfortable room, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Parking was easy and it may be good to let them know that you are coming by car.

The check-in process was confusing as I didn’t know I had to go to the Holiday Inn. Maybe that’s on me as the information could’ve been in an email. However, James at the Holiday Inn got me checked in quickly and was very kind in the process. The apartment suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I can recommend is a fresh coat of paint and some other minor decor changes to spruce the place up a bit.
