"Great hospitality! in the hart of Fes Medina. Owner and staff were very helpful every particular minute. They did everything to make our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend to everyone!"
"I would highly recommend hotel Sahrai in fez
everything about this place is exquisite. Nice selection of restaurants all with
Fabulous food, one of the best staffs ever. Seriously everything you could ask for if I ever get back to fes I'm staying here"
"A new riad just seconds away from one of the main thoroughfares of the Medina. Apple Maps gives a more accurate location. Only about 5-10 minute walk away from the Blue Gate and close to many eateries, ATMs, and shops. About 10-15 walk to tanneries, museums, and other major sites. A great place to be situated to allow you to simply wonder around."
"This was a wonderful stay! Gorgeous property, a riad beyond compare. Khalid and Ouime made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. I stayed longer than intended because they and their property are so special. Highly recommend!"

When you've had your fill at the medina, Agapanthe is the ideal respite with the clean spacious and minimalist rooms overlooking a large pool and orchards.
This property was top notch! I wish everyplace met the standards as this hotel offers. There are three restaurants inside the hotel. One French, one Moroccan and the last Lebanese on the rooftop where there also exist a stunning bar. Plus they had a DJ. The latter was more tapas plates. The food was so good. Our drinks were tasty. We had our laundry serviced while here. It was a bit pricy so discuss cost first if you don’t want any surprises. Our room was large, clean, bed amazing, the bathroom...
After Sahara tour and a day’s travel by taxi from Mezouga, we’re really exhausted. Walking through their modest front door, we found ourselves in a lavishly beautiful oasis. Our room is neat, styled with signature handcrafts of Fez. Hotel manager is a smart and very friendly lady who listened and tried to accommodate our needs. We spent a day in old Médina with tour guide Abdullah recommended by hotel. He led us swimming through this charming maze and ended up appreciating the wisdom and...
We spent 4 nights at Yasmine and Alex's guesthouse in Fez and we are already planning a return. They restored it 8 years ago and have impeccable taste. We ate dinner there on our last night and wish we would have had more meals at the Riad. Fatima is the chef and can give you a free cooking class if you would like. Yasmine and Alex are always around to give you recommendations and couldn't be more helpful. They can arrange tours, hammams and Alex will even give you tips on haggling. She is from...
Dar D'or is the perfect place to stay in Fes! The location is excellent, not in the Medina where you get lost, but right next to it with clear signs that lead you to the door, and very close to the Blue Gate. The room was exactly as pictured, breakfast was excellent, the rooftop perfect for sunset. The thing that sets it apart are the hosts who will make you feel so welcomed, and help with anything you need- they made me tea for sunset on the roof, printed our boarding tickets for our flight,...
The pictures online do not do this absolutely STUNNING property justice.
It is absolutely gorgeous from the garden, to architecture to every single detail.
The staff is courteous, professional and helpful.
They offer a breakfast and dinner option.
5 minute walk from the Medina. I highly recommend it
We were thrilled with our decision to stay here and even ended up spending an extra night. It's a quick and easy walk to the Medina - by Bab (door) Ziat.
The dinner restaurant is spectacular in regard to the food and views. The bar also has a wonderful view and a great place to go for a drink.
The rooms were spacious and decadent in our opinion.
The SPA was a true treat and I'd highly recommend doing a tleast one hamam if not two!
Jaw dropping is what happened when we entered this Ryad. We were met with amazing hospitality and very warm, caring staff. The garden area of the Ryad was incredible - tile work, carvings, fountain and orange trees transported us from the hustle and bustle of the town to the quiet and relaxing space in the Ryad. Although we didn't take advantage, there is a spa and the Ryad serves dinner too. Each morning, we ate like kings - lots of fruit, eggs, breads, tea and coffee. On the morning we had to...
This place is an oasis in a busy Fes Medina area. We stayed here for a few days in July with our children. The staff were welcoming and encouraged us to treat it as our own home. We enjoyed the quietnesses of the courtyard with our nightly Moroccan tea ritual. The kids loved Paul and Paulette - the courtyard tortoises. Pictures do not do this place justice. You must experience it for yourself. We really felt at peace and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Choukran, Riad...
This Riad is lo ated i side the Medina so its advisable to call ahead 20 minutes prior to arrival so a porter can take you and your luggage directly through the maze that is the Fez medina. The hotel can book a private 4 hour tour of the medina with a local guide for $40 Euro and ask if Omar can guide for you. Well worth it! For dinner you can dine in or dine nearby Ruined Garden restaurant. Suggest downloading the Map.Me app to help you navigate around the Medinas in Morroco
Riad Layla was perfection! The staff was polite and so incredibly helpful. We had never said in/near a medina. They gave us a great map, restaurant recommendations, set us up with the best tour guides and drivers, and accommodated everything we needed. Our stay in Fez was an absolute success because of the wonderful people at Riad Layla. Excellent breakfast, gorgeous views from the roof, lovely rooms. Highly recommend to everyone.
