This eco-friendly hotel is a hidden gem. The house is comfortable and clean, situated in the mountains. The couple that run the hotel are AMAZING. They were very much on top of supporting our family while we stayed there.

Amazing little hotel. Check in was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. Quite little fishing village with two great restaurants and cool Pizzeria. Only 10 m Via bus to Portovenere and 10 mins back to La Spitz . Highly recommend. There are spiral stairs tho - so if you are not good with those - maybe give it a miss.

To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Florida Lerici. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located directly across from the beach and is about ten minute walk from San Terenzo and Lerici. I would stay here again.

Wow. Amazing. Beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel/ bed and breakfast and the wonderful people who run it. A converted mansion with just a few rooms, it was amazing. Beautiful garden with a fountain, roses, an aviary. House and garden is filled with artwork. It was more like staying at a mansion or a museum than a hotel. Beautiful hotel with a million dollar view. We splurged for three nights at the Grand Hotel Portovenere and are happy we did. Best location in this beautiful town though one scould argue that it is hard to go wrong anywhere in Portovenere. (We traveled 9 days in Italy during what locals called the "off season" from March 6th to March 17th, 2015). We traveled from the U.S. 88 Miglia was spectacular. The best view in all of La Spezia. The hike to the hotel took us through a nice neighborhood with cool views. The owners were so nice and welcomed us well. We took the local train to Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre area (very close to La Spezia). We would visit 88 Miglia again!

Albergo Serena is located up in the mountains with ~10 minutes of curvy roads, but the views are spectacular! Their facilities are somewhat new, it's looks like it used to be a house and they added some rooms but well planned. Their staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with pastries, jams, cereals, salami, cheese, and even a make your own waffles machine!!!
