"We had a king size room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the river. It was a beautiful room. It was very clean we were very comfortable and it was quiet at night time. There staff was fantastic. We would definitely go there again. Don't let the outside fool ya. This is a gem. The only thing I'd change is comfortable mattress. Too soft"

"This was a very clean property.Well maintained data.It was kind of like spending the night at grandma's house. But it definitely gave that nice warm comfy feel. Only thing.When you turn the hot water on the water that comes out for the first 3-4 minutes got a heavy sulfur smell"

"Lovely place to stay in Petoskey, Michigan. It was our central location to come back to each evening after sailing in Traverse City, traveling to Mackinaw Island, or finding our way to Legs Inn through the Tunnel of Trees. We enjoyed the big porch, eating pizza with friends while we watched the sunset over the lake. Fresh cookies in our room daily! No room TV's to distract, but a nice game/TV/library room to use when you needed it. Also morning beverages available there if you were leaving before 8 AM breakfast. The wait staff and food were wonderful and we appreciated this beginning to 3 of our 4 days at Bay View. Lots of gathering space for our group of 8 friends who came together from Minnesota and California."
