"It is located in a nice part of town which we appreciated. While one of the selling points for us was that it was a lower pet rate and they really are pet friendly- our room was ajar when we arrived (11pm) which was a bit unsettling. However the worst part was swinging the door open and having a wave of animal urine smell hit us in the face. Obviously we have a pet but for the pet friendly rooms to have such a strong/overwhelming/gross smell really ruined our stay. It made everything else in the room “feel” gross/dirty. A potential solution would be to NOT have carpet in pet friendly rooms or have better smell mitigation measures in place. Staff were not available- I had a family member staying in a non-pet room and smell was not a factor but they tried to contact the hotel ahead of there stay and called several times and no one answered. Staff that I saw were there occasionally and didn’t seem approachable. This was my first extended stay hotel experience and I understand there is a bit of a “lesser” experience in these types of places but smell and customer service are huge variables for me. I would not recommend- pay the extra money to stay at Holiday/Hampton Inn"

"Staff did what they could to assist the TV not working, broken shower, and broken coffee maker. Spent much of our time watching maintenance fix everything. Then we had kids running up and down the hallway and dogs barking all after 11PM. Not happy with this stay."

"Check in was okay. Small, slow elevators. Room was disgusting. It smelled when I opened the door. The carpet had multiple stains, and the chair was so dirty I wouldn't sit in it. The bathtub appeared to have been spray painted, and scratches then made in it. There was a nasty glob of something on the edge of the headboard. There were multiple scratches and damaged areas on the walls. I could not get the hair dryer to work. The bedding looked clean, and the breakfast was good. Odd people hanging around inside and outside. I wouldn't stay here again."
