Udaan Himalayan Suites and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The Udaan experience was like an oasis in the desert. You came into a different world once inside. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The welcome from the staff was very inviting and friendly. The service was excellent from all staff but an extra mention to the Manager who went out of his way to make our holiday memorable by cutting a cake and also singing a song for us on our last night. Amazing!! On a daily basis the staff would check on us if we were wanting for anything and they would oblige almost immediately. The variety of breakfast was also excellent and varied although pure vegetarian it was very well made. I would definitely recommend Udaan to anyone who wants to feel pampered and looked after."

Ivanhoe Hotel A Heritage Property

8/10 Good

"Hotel location was hard to find, lady staff was rude to my driver and unhelpful, we wasted quite a lot of time driving up and down on holly and narrow street, my driver even hit the back of his 4x4car. Not until I called and personally spoke to the hotel again then they sent a staff to our lost location and showed us the way to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite so was the gentleman owner was very welcoming. I’d a good but short sleep as has to leave at 3.40 for Tiger hill. The gentleman owner and his staff kindly assist me to my next driver of the day."

Windamere Hotel

8/10 Good

"It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself."

Sterling Darjeeling

10/10 Excellent

"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."

Planter's Heritage by Cilantro Collections - Mall Road

8/10 Good

"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."
