"There was mold in the bathroom walls and shower curtain. Bathroom floor not swept. Bath tub did not drain while showering. 3 bath towels for 4 people. No extra toilet paper. "

"Stayed at the The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach and was very disappointed. The hotel is outdated and feels more like a 2-star than a 4-star. The rooms and common areas were not very clean, and the towels and linens looked worn and dirty. There was even sand around the bed, which made it seem like the room wasn’t properly cleaned. Housekeeping also threw away my personal item, which was frustrating. The only positives were the ocean view and the food trucks. Overall, the pricing does not match the quality. I would not stay here again."

"The stay was ok except for how noisy the rooms are due to poor insulation. We checked in with the baggage cart and the person below us called the front desk to complain about the noise. The room above us walked back and forth at all hours of the night every night. The sound machine couldn’t drown them out. There was also a chipped tile in the middle of the walkway to the bathroom. We had to keep the floor covered with a towel so no one cut their foot. I told the front desk and nothing was done. The breakfast was ok with limited options. Wouldn’t recommend staying here with how poorly insulated the rooms are. "

"While this hotel was remodeled a few years ago, the bones a rough. I was here for 16 days and was able to really settle in. The elevators need to be replaced; there are issues. On multiple occasions the elevators attempted to descend with the doors open and other times the control panel doesn’t recognize the floor that was selected. Ventilation was rough; smelled all sorts of meals being cooked in surrounding rooms. If you want to listen to dogs bark; this is the place to go; pet friendly for sure! Avoid spring break weeks here; large crowds/parties booked 3 rooms conveniently placed all around me and it was party central in the rooms and hallways. No respect for other guests. My particular room location; the window a wouldn’t close 100% so the weed being smoked in the courtyard came right in! Hotel addressed with the guests and it stopped but at 11:00pm and airing my room out until 1am wasn’t ideal. Rooms are nice/decorated well and spacious. Laundry is new! Breakfast was robust; a lot of options and staff is very friendly and helpful! Parking was good as well, no issues. If your looking for a 1-3 night stay; should be good, if longer, don’t recommend."

"Breakfast was very good but cold each day. Furniture was worn out and looked really bad, not what we’re used to at Embassy. One day we were notified the water in the entire hotel would be turned off from 11:00 pm-6:00 am because of testing the pipes.?? Embassy Suites is one of our favorite hotels but this experience was a little disappointing."
