We flew here from the United States for our daughter’s wedding. The property radiates historic charm, but has some modern updates, most notably the showers. Great pressure and temperature control along with space to move around. The grounds are beautiful! The reception was held adjacent to the hotel in an enclosed room that nicely accommodated the 60 guests. The staff is conscientious and friendly.

What a wonderful stay in this exceptional place; from the dramatic scenery of the 13th century castle to the beautiful surroundings in a place where time simply stops. Guests can enjoy and relax by the pool, indulge in a brand-new spa, and dine on property at the gastronomic restaurant (kudos to the Chef and team!) or the “bistrot d’été”. From a world traveler who stopped doing so as the world paused for a few months, it was a real treat to get to enjoy a trip just a few hours away from home....
