Unbelievable bargain of the century. The hotel was newly renovated, everything was shiny and new. The staff were incredible helpful and the buffet breakfast was the best I have ever seen as a free perk. Free parking is a big bonus too. Great base of operations to explore the Algarve.

The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.

What a wonderful quiet hidden resort on top of the beautiful cliffs of the Algarve region in Portugal. We took the train from Lisbon to Tunes, where the resort arranged a taxi to pick us up. Its about a 20-30 minute drive to the resort. Wear your seat belt, taxi drivers do not drive slow.

Great 10 days stay at this resort. Plenty for all to do, and a great amount of high end facilities on offer. There are a number of pools here, which catered for all types of guests, families with young children, or one for couples. The villa's were very well equipped and serviced daily. This place was a steal, staff was amazing, located in quiet Porches, we enjoyed every part of our trip. The villas were modern and very well thought out. Minutes from Chapel Nossa and surrounded by picturesque scenery. Truly would 10/10 recommend, looking forward to returning.
I rarely give an excellent rating for a hotel experince. But Sao Rafael Suites was above and
beyond the other hotels I have stayed. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to answer or
help you. Added bonus is live performance every night when we were there. Sao Rafael Beach is
