I stayed one night while traveling around Kagawa in my rental car. The Hotel O. Setouchi seems to be a new, small boutique hotel. Easy parking on site. Easy check in. Friendly staff member. Though the room was a little small, it was modern and tastefully decorated. I was given a pass to use the large onsen across the street, which was wonderful for my legs after a long day of hiking / walking. The onsen complex has a restaurant. Other than that, I didn't see any restaurants within walking...

The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They, thankfully, held my luggage before check in and well after check out so I could maximize my sightseeing in Naoshima. My room was well-appointed though small, but good for someone who doesn’t travel with large suitcases. The hotel is conveniently located across from the ferry and a very brief walk to the train station. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Amazing room -twin beds with round table and bench. Staff helpful. Great location. Breakfast efficient and adequate. Check in and out effortless.
