Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation, but understand it's NYC and parking isn't always convenient.

I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Breakfast was yummy and different every day- it was busy, but the staff did an excellent job of keeping food stocked and the area cleaned up. Even though it was crowded, we never had to wait long for anything. The room and hotel were clean and beds were comfy. We really liked the fridge and microwave in the hotel- it was really nice for heating up some late night leftovers. There was also a water and ice machine on our floor, which was very helpful.

Absolutely love this hotel! Staff is very friendly. Will absolutely be staying here again!

This was an amazing place to stay. EVERYONE is friendly. The room is clean. The bed is huge and comfortable. The air gets so cold. The rooftop bar has BEAUTIFUL views of the city. The location is perfect. You're so close to EVERYTHING! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. The atmosphere is so chill. So happy we stayed here. Location is great and the hotel has everything you need. If you are visiting NY, and interested in what happens outside of your room in the city, instead of the superficial amenities or the plastic luxury of cookie-cutter hotels, the St. James is perfect. Clean, wonderful staff, unbeatable location, and at a price that makes sense. Great place!

Very nice hotel, pricey but great place and location.

It was a great hotel which was run by the great group of people. As the building was a bit old, it was easily offset by the great service and overall experience at this hotel. Room was clean yet very spacious and quiet. Large desk allowed us to eat lunch/dinner with a plenty room to spare. Small in-room refrigerator and microwave at the dinning area provided us a good food option. Bathroom was also spacious and plenty of hot water to made us relax.
