From the day we checked in until the day we checked out everything was great. Rebecca checked us in and she was very nice and friendly and helpful, the entire staff were also very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. We have no complaints at all, we will definitely be staying at this Hampton Inn in Covington, VA as we have family in the area.
The Old Clark Inn was excellent, Rooms are clean and the staff was very friendly. Caley and Rob, the In-keepers were awesome as they made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, The Inn has a lot of history as it was always an inn, which my wife and I loved. I recommend the Old Clark Inn and will stay again if we ever get a chance to go back to Marlinton WV to bike the Greenbriar Trail or even Snowshoe just up the road. Everything was awesome. We loved it. Lovely large rooms w/living room kitchen & dining room. No stove but that was very clearly stated when booking so no problem. Clean and recently renovated. Restaurant/bar associated was quite good. Staff were outstanding! Close to Greenbriar & Lewisburg. Highly recommend
Check in is at Penny's Diner, about 20 ft from hotel entrance. It is about 8 years old, and provides a smoke free environment. I could rave on and on about this place, but suffice it to say I booked online, sight unseen, and booked again for the return trip and will continue to book whenever my travel takes me near Low Moor, VA.
This is a beautiful resort but way too expensive. They nickel and dime you for every single possible thing, and all rates are way too high. The spa was amazing but not sure we can afford to go back. I think there may be better value elsewhere without all these extra expenses and charges.
