"We had made our reservations a month or so in advance, but we arrived late at night and were given the key to our room but there was a man in the bed when we opened the door. We apologized and lugged our luggage back down to the main desk. We were told there were no more rooms with two queen beds so we asked if we could have two rooms instead. When we went to open the second room, it was the same room with a man in bed. So we had to lug our suitcases back down to the main desk again. We were finally given the keys to two unoccupied rooms. We just hoped the desk clerk wouldn’t now give some stranger the key to our rooms!! Very uosetting!"

"Hotel was remodeled. Nice view of the river, but the floor in the room still had crumbs and water bottle caps. The inside of the bathroom door had handprints everywhere and looked like someone had spilled something on it ??? Sheets had small holes and the comforter looked like it had stains on it. Made me question how well they washed everything. Had I not been so tired, I would have asked for a different room or for them to do a thorough cleaning the next day. I hope the hotel can invest in better sheets and do a better job cleaning the rooms. The rooms were a nice size and lighting was good. However, I could hear everything in the room next to me. Walls seem to be thin. I ate at the restaurant the first night. The food was terrible. Wouldn't recommend. Find a nearby restaurant. Coffee in the morning near the restaurant was great. Hotel staff at the front desk was friendly. There's potential for this property to be great, if they make some improvements. "
