The staff is wonderful; very friendly and helpful. The facility is kept impeccably. It is fairly close to the Greek ruins, which was our reason for visiting.
When we arrived at the esplanade they told us they were full so they upgraded us to The Savoy hotel next door. The room was huge and had everything you will need. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. A great treat!!!
Hotel Cerere is unforgetable. Everything was more than excellent. Beautiful place, extra nice staff. Excelent breakfast. I would recommend it 1000 times.
We booked the hotel because of it's proximity to the historic Paestum site. It was great for that and had a good breakfast to start the day off. It was clear that this hotel caters to wedding and honeymoon parties which we were not. However we were there in the off season so it served us well. The finishes are a little outdated but the hotel is nice and well kept. Only complaint is that the wireless service was spotty and unusable from the room. Had to go to the lobby to access it.
Angela the hostess was amazing! Amazing breakfast in the morning!!!!! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Cold beers in the mini fridge!!!! Walking distance to ferry and main strip in town. A great base for hopping along the Amalfi coast. Easy ferry to Amalfi and Positano!! Took a day boat trip right out of Salerno.
We enjoyed our overnight stay. After a long drive the room was clean, the shower was strong, and the. Ire was beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast delivered right to our door in the Light Blue suite. Luca was very helpful when we lost our way and came outside to meet/find us. Sometimes gps can be confusing on small streets and Luca left us very good directions and vantage points. The only thing we did t expect were the few flight of stairs going down and then up again.
Excellent location , great staff and what can I say about GIGI, he went beyond my expectations to make our stay pleasant and more ….
