Hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. A little out of the way but if you arrive in time you can take the Klum train up the hill right behind the drop point behind the castle.
We had a great stay and loved the room we were in. The rooms are simple and modern, but clean and spacious. The bathroom was great as well, very clean with sleek finishes. Lots of great windows too to let in fresh air. We were greeted promptly for check in and everyone we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Situated on Hauptstrasse (Main Street) in old town Heidelberg. It as good to walk every day just as the Germans do. Shops were okay, but plentiful. Also close to Heidelberg's main historical attractrations, the Schloss (Castle) and the Alte Brucke ( the old Bridge).

Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.
